Charles Clark Obituary
CISCO- Charles Clark, 58, of Cisco, TX, passed away at his home on Friday, November 13, 2015. He was born on March 14, 1957, and was a lifelong resident of Cisco, Texas. He attended Cisco High School, Cisco Junior College and Hardin Simmons University and worked for various oil companies as a pumper until he retired to the family farm. He enjoyed making improvements on the farm and was an excellent mechanic.
Charles always found new projects to further his pursuit of knowledge, including becoming a furniture craftsman by simple trial and error. Unbeknownst to many, he was a creative artist and enjoyed writing poetry, usually satirical in nature.
He is survived by his sister, Diana Clark of Cisco, TX, and her daughter, Meagan Clark of Huntington Beach, CA; sister Jeannette and husband Bob Gorman of Arlington, TX, their children Marnie Liedtke and husband Ken of Plano, TX, and Greg Gorman and wife Theresa of Tulsa, OK; his beloved aunt, Violet Frazier of Abilene, TX, along with cousins Ken Kamon, Kaye Kamon, Sam Hart, Tamara Royal, and Barbara Lamphear.
He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Rose Clark, Cisco, Texas; aunts Effie Kamon and Fern Hart; and uncles Tom Hart, Garnet Hart, and G. W. Hart.
Funeral arrangements are being made by Kimbrough Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 17th, at Oakwood Cemetery in Cisco, TX. Judge Jim Wright will officiate.
