Home Destroyed In Sunday Fire

According to David Branch, Sunday afternoon Eastland Fire Department received a call to a structure flre at 202 county road 157. The family had a security company that cancelled the call saying there was no flre. Shortly after that a call came in saying: Yes, the house was on flre. The home was a double wide that had been bricked over. By the time the 2nd call came in the flre had a good head start and with the construction of the house it was like an oven. Eastland Fire department did everything they could to save it with assistance of several surrounding flre departments but could not save the home or pets that were in the house.
