Lady Wildcats Fall In Close Game To May

In the heart of the 2nd half of the district schedule, the Lady Wildcats of Rising Star took on May this past Friday evening. They earned their 2nd district victory on Tuesday night when the Moran Lady Bulldogs forfeited their game. On Friday, the game was low-scoring between the Lady Wildcats and Lady Tigers. May jumped out to an early 14-8 lead after the 1st quarter. The Lady Wildcats rebounded from their slow start to outscore the Lady Tigers in the 2nd quarter, 12-8 to cut the May lead to 2 at the half, 22-20.
