Rising Star Makes Strong Showing in UIL Academic Meet

The Rising Star Elementary Academic Team made a strong showing in the District15 Region 2 Academic Meet at Baird, Wednesday December 10, 2014. Competing with Baird, Cross Plains, Eula, May and Moran, Rising Star Elementaryfinished in third place with 501.17 points. Baird placed second with 501.5 points, and Cross Plains earned first place with 919.33 points. Eula scored 488 points, May scored 326 points, and Moranscored 88 points.
