Ladies Civic League & Garden Club Enjoys “A MAJESTIC LUNCHEON”

Entering the Majestic Theatre in downtown Eastland at Noon is a little bit different than strolling up to the ticket window at night. As I entered, Tina Gilbert greeted me with the information about today’s program for the Civic League and Garden Club’s Wednesday Luncheon Program. Several members were already enjoying the Noon fare of Chicken Salad Croissant and Brownies, when I arrived in the semi-darkness of the front rows. Carolyn White spoke to us and told that a door prize number would be taped to the carton in which my lunch was held.
