The Varsity Ranger Bulldogs travelled to Brady on Friday to face the Nueces Canyon Panthers in their first non-district contest. Coach Brian Ramsey felt very good about the Bulldogs chances this year, now being under his tutelagefor a complete year. His steady ground and pound playing style was evident in this first game. The offense put up 444 total yards with only 1 reception for 11 yards in the 32-28 victory. The Ranger offense was a little slow out of the blocks Friday evening. The Panthers were able to take advantage of a miscue or two to put up an early 14 points and kept the Bulldogs off the score board for the 1st 12 minutes.
