Baird Ground Attack too much

Garrett Deel scored 6 times for the Baird Bears leading them past the Gorman Panthers last Friday evening in Baird by the score of 48-8. The district contest wasn’t even close, with Baird scoring twice in the 1st quarter and then breaking the game open with 27 points in the 2nd. Deel got the Bears on the board early with a 17-yard run. Deel then picked up a Panther fumble on the ensuing kickoff and ran it back 40 yards for a score. He then scored on run from 10, 1, 10 and 11 yards out in the second to seal the game for Baird.
