Library Participates In City Wide Garage Sale
On Saturday, April 26, the Charlie Garrett Memorial Library participated in the Gorman City Wide Garage Sale. Our activities that day fulfilled three purposes. First, we wanted to take part in this fun and community building city activity; second, it is important to periodically cull our collection for duplicate and outdated books in order to make room for newer and more relevant materials; and third, to make those books available to the community at low or no cost – then donating the rest to worthy organizations.
