HISTORIC PRESERVATION BOARD BEGINS REVIEW OF 2015 GRANT APPLICATIONS

The City of Eastland Historic Preservation Board met on September 3rd to begin their review of 2015 Grant Request. A total of three request were received by the Board. Historic Preservation Grants are funded from city collected hotel and motel taxes and are awarded to businesses located in the downtown area for structural and or facade work and improvements. In the past, based on the type of work requested, the City of Eastland has awarded matches of 50/50 to 75/25.
