The ‘14-’15 budget and a hiked tax rate to make up for a $43,000.00 drop in valuations was the first thing passed, before an extensive report by Jerry Conner on EEDI activities and future projects at the regular meeting. Then came approval of the bid proposal for Airport Terminal Building and Improvements by Raydon, Inc. as recommended by EEDI, subject to TxDOT approval. After a lengthy discussion commissioners passed a measure to erect an airport sign to cost some $20,000.00.
