Jones leads Cisco to Area Championship

The Cisco Loboes took their 2nd step to Arlington this past Friday evening by defeating the Post Antelopes in Sweetwater, 49-7. The Loboes are Area Champions as result of the victory and will face the undefeated Spearman Lynx this Friday afternoon at 2 pm in Frenship, just outside of Lubbock. Cole Jones and Landen Lewis combined for over 200 yards of rushing offense and Kotie Hoover racked up right at 100 yards in receiving yards to lead the Lobo offensive attack. The defense held the ‘Lopes to just 7 points, giving up 222 yards (all on the ground.) The bold gold of Post received the opening kickoff and the Lobo “D” forced a 3-and-out.
