Cisco HS Student Given Statewide Music Award

Joseph Bret Hudman, a Junior at Cisco High School, was honored as a Texas Music Scholar during a ceremony held on May 16. Bret was nominated for this honor by his director, Mac McKinnerney; the award was given by the Texas Music Educators Association, which sponsors the Texas All-State Bands, Orchestras, and Choirs. Last year fewer than 1,500 students were named as Texas Music Scholars.
