Cisco College Brings Back Rodeo Team

Cisco College’s sports teams are aptly named the “Wranglers”, commemorating the strong cowboy culture of West Central Texas. The college’s rodeo team during the 1970’s was known as one of the top teams in Texas, counting among its students several young people who would go on to make their mark in the world of professional rodeo and roping. Cisco College recently announced their intention to resurrect the Wrangler Rodeo Team beginning in the 2015-16 academic year. The college already has a strong Agriculture program, which will be enhanced by the new rodeo team.
