Velma Lee (Crowder) Fleming Obituary

Velma Lee (Crowder) Fleming 81, of Cisco passed from this life into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Saturday June 4, 2016 at her home surrounded by family and loved ones.

Velma was born to Terrell and Pearl Crowder May 23, 1935 in Cisco, Texas. She married Jim Fleming on December 24, 1952. He passed away May 6, 1995. Velma was a

homemaker and a member of the Old Gospel Church. She loved being with her family and church family. Velma lived a life of always being willing to help anyone and was loved by many people.

Survivors are her children: Franky Fleming and wife Becky of Baird, Randy Fleming and wife Lynn of Lake Chapala Mexico, Darlene Hawkins and husband Joe of Russellville

Arkansas, Ricky Fleming and wife Carla of Cisco, and Kathy Justice of Eastland, Texas. Fourteen Grandchildren, Twenty-Four great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Three sister-in-laws: Patty Killough, Marilyn Fleming and Joyce Fleming.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Sisters Betty Foster and husband Gil, Florine McMurry and husband Robert. Brother: Terrell Dwayne Crowder and wife Linda and grandsons

Funeral Services were held Tuesday June 7, 2016 at the Old Gospel Church in Cisco officiated by Brother Dennis McClure and Brother Carl Begley directed by Kimbrough Funeral Home.

Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery in Cisco.
