Michael “Mike” Timothy Blough

   RISING STAR – Michael Timothy Blough passed from this life at the young age of 30 yrs. old Monday, April 6, 2015 as the result of injuries sustained due to a motor vehicle accident. A visitation will be held Saturday, April 11th at 1 pm at the Edwards Funeral Home in Eastland followed by cremation.

Mike was born December 8, 1984 in Evergreen Park, IL to Michael Timothy and Judith Ann Blough. He graduated from Brother Rice High School in Chicago, IL. He joined the Marines following high school and served honorably from 2003-2005. On March 15, 2013 he married Melinda Kunert in Rising Star and they made it their home. He currently worked as the Assistant Manager at Subway in Cisco.

Mike was an avid video gamer and loved paintballing. He loved his family and life; he loved to tease and was a true child at heart.

He is survived by his wife Melinda, one son Connor and a precious daughter, Zoe, on the way. His parents: Judy and Michael Blough of Evergreen Park, IL, two brothers: George Blough of IL and Daniel Blough of VA and one sister, Julia Blough and fiancé Anthony Rodriguez also of IL. Mike is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins as well as his beloved in-laws.
